John

John “Fred” Goff, 76 of Follansbee, WV passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at Trinity Medical Center West.

Fred was born on November 16, 1936 in Wellsburg, WV a son of the late Ray and Virginia (Cooper) Goff. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his two brothers, Charles and Elmer Goff.

He was a member of the Washington Pike Nazarene Church. Fred retired after many years from Mountaineer Gas Company where he worked as a heavy equipment operator.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Shirley (Hall) Goff whom he married on August 14, 1959. Two sons, John L. Goff of Follansbee, WV and Edward (Tracy) Goff of Weirton, WV Two grandchildren, Morgan and Edward Logan Goff

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 22nd from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the Mullenbach Funeral Home 669 Main St. Follansbee, WV where funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 23rd at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. Russ Buchanan, officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Cemetery in Wellsburg, WV.
