Marvin Eugene

Marvin Eugene “Marney” Waugh, 72 of Follansbee, WV passed away peacefully on Thanksgiving Day November 22, 2012 at home surrounded by his loving family.

Marney was born on January 15, 1940 in Wellsburg, WV a son of the late Lowell Otis and Mary (Bennett) Waugh. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his two brothers, Bud and David Waugh.

Marvin retired from Weir Cove Moving and Storage where he worked as a truck driver. He was a member of the Promise of Victory Church of God. A true family man, Marvin also had a passion for building things and working with wood.

On September 20, 1961 he married the love of his life, Nancy “Carol” (Stern) Waugh, who survives and has been his wife for 51 years. Three children, Marvin (Brenda) Waugh of Gulf Breeze, FL., Marla (Delbert) Armstrong and Mark (Jennifer) Waugh both of Follansbee, WV One brother, Terry (Judy) Waugh of Weirton, WV Four sisters, Nancy Harris of Columbus, OH., Marlene Garrett of Mingo Junction, OH., Betty (Rex) Mossor of Toronto, OH., and Marilee Morriston of Kansas City, MO 11 Grandchildren, Briana (Jeff) Roberts, Cory (Kait) Waugh, Brittani (Geno) Tate, Hayley Waugh, Shayla Waugh, Kyle Armstrong, Zach Armstrong, Alec Armstrong, Cole Armstrong, Mark Waugh, and Mariah Waugh 4 Great Grandchildren, Landon Roberts, Brayden Roberts, Ivan Roudebush, and Simyon White

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 25th from 1-3 and 5-8 P.M. and again on Monday, November 26th from 12:00 P.M. until time of services at 1:00 P.M. at the Mullenbach Funeral Home 669 Main St. Follansbee, WV with Pastor J.D. Wall officiating. Interment will follow in St. Johns Cemetery in Colliers, WV.
