Jimmy D. Moore, 77 of Wellsburg, WV passed away on Friday, October 26, 2012 at Wheeling Medical Park.
He was born on June 18, 1935 in Webster Springs, WV a son of the late Annas and Ruby Irene (Rudd) Moore. He is also preceded in death by his first wife, Helen Irene Moore in 2002, his second wife, Pearl Mae (DeGarmo) Moore on May 31, 2011, his daughter, Cheryl Lynn Ramsey in 2003, a stepdaughter, Peggy Jo Cook in 1998, a brother, Annas “Pete” Norman, and a sister, Lois McGinnis.
Jimmy retired from Applied Dynamics where he was the head of the Maintenance and Machine Shop. He was a member of the Franklin United Methodist Church. Jimmy was also a member of the Wellsburg Masonic Lodge #2A.F. & A.M..
He is survived by his daughter, Patricia (Chris) Nichols of Craig, Col., a stepson, John Allemond of Wellsburg, WV, a grandson, Isaac (Amanda) Nichols, and three Great Grandchildren, Savannah, Rinoa, and Mira Nichols, five step grandchildren, Max and Spencer Allemond, Jayda (Lonnie) Riggs, Paulette (David) Ackerman, and Mellow Scheetz, and three step great grandchildren, Lonnie Blair Riggs, Emma Riggs, and London Ackerman
Friends will be received on Monday, October 29th from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the Mullenbach Funeral Home 669 Main St. Follansbee, WV where funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Carl D. Tribett, officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Cemetery in Wellsburg, WV. Masonic rites will be conducted by Wellsburg Lodge #2A.F.&A.M.
