Edith Emilia Earnest, 84 of Wellsburg, WV passed away on Monday, September 17, 2012 at Valley Haven Geriatric Center.

Born on May 22, 1928 she was the daughter of the late James G. and Edith E. (Babbin) Wilson. She is also preceded in death by her son Jody Earnest, a sister, Evelyn Goodsell, and three brothers, James, John, and Kenny Wilson.

Many years before moving to Wellsburg, Edith worked for Delmonte Foods in Plover, WI. While in Wellsburg, WV she was a homemaker and Catholic by faith.

Surviving are four children, Merle Jay Earnest and companion Mercy Heck of Wellsburg, WV, Jack (Tomacita) Earnest of Stevens Point, WI, Jerry (Denise) Earnest of Shadyside, OH, and June A. Earnest of Wellsburg, WV. Eight Grandchildren, Nikki, Brittany, Gerrica, Logan, Melissa, Shanae, Shay, and Alisha Two Great Grandchildren

There will be no visitation. A private family service will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Mullenbach Funeral Home 669 Main St. Follansbee, WV.
